Well I don't think that's anything to do with the php version, more likely a typo error in your form or they are going to spam folders, or if you have a divert (redirect)set up on the hosting email address could be any number of things.

I've made hundreds of these sites and think I'm setting it up correctly. Just changed the email to deliver to a different email but its not delivering to that one either (yahoo)

I'm puzzled

CHAT GPT is running me all over hte place - did a lot with go daddy etc its saying the it s in the form builder

Is there a error log within the form directory on the host?
Have you tried a simple one line form for testing with just an email input?
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.
