I am creating several forms for donation purposes on a non-profit organizations website. I was getting ready to upload the files from the second form when I noticed that WFB creates a folder called cartapp_v1.

The files created by WBF have to be uploaded to my public_html folder.

So my question is what will happen when I upload the files from the second donation form and it overwrites the cartapp_v1 which was created by my first donation form???

I know that I can create a single form and get donations for separate things on the same form, but the organization prefers separate forms for each donation.

Thanks for your help.

Hi Galen,

You have to save each project you do with a different name. Then it will export to different folders.

For example my website has three forms. One is called LogoForm, one is called ContactForm and the last is called TestimonialForm.

Hi Steve,
Right. that is what I did. One for Scholarship Donations and one for Food Bank Donations.

In the exported folders they each have a folder titled cartapp_v1. That as well as one other folder and a php files are supposed to be uploaded to the public_html folder of my website.

The attachment shows the files created and to be uploaded. You can see the file with the same name.

Hmmm sorry Galen I misunderstood. I haven't had a lot of time to play with the Paypal feature in WFB so we may have to wait for someone else to chime in here. Is there no where in the properties you can name the cart?

I just tried 2 forms on 1 page. One was a contact form with donation ability, the other was just a payment form. Didn't work. Not sure if I had something wrong or if it just isn't possible, I was in a hurry, but it didn't work. :/

What you could do, if you're in a hurry for a solution, is just upload your forms to separate directories. Create your forms on separate pages, copy those pages to the correct directory for the forms, then link to them from the main page.

Round-about way of doing it, but should work. Your form files just need to be in the same directory as the page the form is on. They do not have to be in the root.

That is a shared folder that can be used with all forms. It's ok to always overwrite that if you make a new form.

Drugs again! 2 more weeks and I should be off!

It worked Galen. I have 2 forms on 1 page and both display and should work okay since Scott says those are common files.

Um, looking at how my form focuses on the second form, make sure you set focus on whichever form you are going to display first. Unless they are all side by side...

Thanks for the help there. Glad that is a common folder. I'll upload and give it a try.

I have only been on one other software forum that offers so much help and advice. And this one even has someone from the company answering questions all the time too!!

THANKS.
