Item description in Paypal
I sell photographic art on line with a catalogue of about 90 pictures. Each picture has a choice of materials and print sizes. The buyer needs to manually type in the picture name as the catalogue is continually being changed. How do I get the picture name to show up in Paypal ? Thanks
The type of site you are describing would be best suited with one of the Shopping Cart Creators. That is what they are designed for. With that you can change the products and have full control of the process.

May we have a link and a little more information? Are you running it with a Shopping cart software? Or just paypal buttons?

I am having the same issue. We don't want or need a shopping cart but would like the class description to show up on the PayPal invoice summary. Right now, we can only type in one description on the payment settings. Is there a way for the PayPal invoice to pick up a field from the form?
Thanks.
Thanks.
I see where the PayPal order summary has the main description and then "Item Number 1" under it, but I don't know where the Item Number 1 comes from or how to change it.

That is hard-coded into the scripts and cannot be changed through the software. If you want to customize that, you would have to hack through the PHP scripts on your server.

I am sorry, but no. Only one description is allowed.

I have to wonder why "Item Number 1" is even there if it doesn't mean anything. Thank you for the answers, though.
