Integrating Responsive Layout Maker...
Hi,
Just purchased Web Form Builder. Also have Responsive Layout Maker. I saw that Web Form Builder uses PHP, which is cool.
Has anyone had experience integrating Web Form Builder into Responsive Layout Maker? If so, what were your experiences.
Thanks,
Larry

Hey Larry,
I use WFB all the time with RLMP. I have even put together a tutorial on how to add one to RLMP you can view here:

If you have any questions please let us know.

Hi Steve,
one question about integrating a web builder form. In RLM I have a row with two 6 span cols. page width is 1248px,
Now I want my form to go into the left hand column, When I build the form do I have to make it a specific size so that it will fit inside the left column i.e. half of 1248px or will the form automatically adjust its size to fit the column.
Sorry but Im still trying to grasp integration of both programmes. In your video you don't mention anything about sizes and the form just fitted nicely. I tried it and form went full width over 2 colums push the right column onto the next line.
Its all a big learning curve...

I would suggest you make it less than half of the page width so that it isn't hugging the edges of the page and looks nicer.
Try for something around 575 and see how that goes. Plus if you make it the right size to start with you'll also know exactly how the form will look when it's input into the page without worrying about it not fitting correctly.

Thanks Jo Ann . You have answered what I was looking for. I only put half the size in to make it obvious what I was trying to do and you are correct in saying make it smaller than the column if anything for whitespace in layout. It has taken me a little bit to under standing the image placeholder sizing when adding it with RLM. Initially you get this tiny little grey box. I then have to fiddle with ratios and sizing and percentages to get what looks eight.

Yeah there's always that bit of calculation that needs to be done to make things fit well. I cheat of course haha, I use Snagit which has a great feature that allows you to outline the area you want to take a screenshot of and what it has is a little added feature on that which gives you the dimensions of the area you are outlining. This makes it easy to know what size you need to make something.
In other words, I fill in the area I want done with an image to look how I want it to look in RLMP, and then I use Snagit on that placeholder image within RLMP or in a browser if you have it uploaded and measure it
