Form user selects a colour option -...
Hi everyone,
Just after some advice and guidance on a form where the user chooses a colour.
What is the best way to actually visually show the colour and is this possible with Web Form Builder?
For example where there might be several blues available i would like to show those blues.
I don't know if radio buttons or select forms are best and if they can be coloured?
Should an image just be shown on the form of all colours?
look forward to your advice

I think the easiest way to accomplish this is going to be using images added to the form. You could use a photo editing program to combine all your blue images together with labels if needed and make this into a single image for use in your form.

I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Hi Eric,
I am interested to know how you would implement this in web form builder?

Hi there, thank you for the live example.
It does give me an idea of what to do. I had hoped I could colour a drop down menu to save on space.
I have a lot of colour options, possibly 20 but I could always try smaller images.

Hiya Andrew,
Feel free to go to the suggestions thread for Web Form Builder and put that suggestion in there so it's counted. I too would love to see coloring options on the drop downs, radio buttons and check boxes. I know a few others have asked for coloring options, but the more voices in the suggestions thread for a feature, the more possibilities we get that they will add them.

You could also as I said earlier make a single image out of several different colors combined with a photo editor program or WIS. This way you would only be adding a few images but getting all your colors represented.

Yep that's the best way I've ever found too. I used that even in my shop years ago with a single image with all the variations of the product on it (color swatches mostly, or clothing models with the different colors or styles all in one image). Definitely does the trick
