Yes tried like that - same result just shows the php code in the page when previewed

Cant give you a link as the page is not live.

Could something else on the page affect it - script wise?

There's not any form code on that page.

Hi Adam,

As I said previously the site is not live - work in progress and on my HD - I have uploaded here the page html and pasted the coffee cup generated code in previous reply

I understand. However, to fully test the form, it needs to be uploaded. Until the form is upload (not placed on a local server) we can not really assist. Most likely your issue is with the local server, not Web Form Builder.

Once you upload the form, please provide a link to the page where the form is located so that we can take a look. :)

Hi Adam,

I have just created a fresh page and defined a site on the desktop so no server is required - inserted a form that I have used before and I know works and all I get is the php script - have done this in DW CC2015 and 2014.

The form is the same as used previously and I know it works - strange that by inserting it in any new page now it does not.

Eric,

Here is the correct file - sorry - form at line 111

You can't preview php on your desktop without the proper environment.

Can you preview the actual WBO_quote.html ?
Also try previewing this page.
WBO_quote/fbapp/php/servertest.php

Hi Eric,

Yes I am able to view these files easy.

To begin a process of elimination I set the site up on my back up computer and opened the page in Dreamweaver on that computer (same version etc) then went to preview and it worked just fine - so the only thing not common ( apart from the computer itself ) was MAMP and DW application - On my main computer I uninstalled and reinstalled MAMP - re configured it all and now it works just fine.

Thank you for your help it has been excellent but I just needed to step away and let logic get a grip.

Many thanks Guys

Regards

Bruce ( Simmo)

I have only used WAMP and I know you need to setup your environment properly. I'm glad you got it sorted out.
