On a manual server setup, I am throwing an error when I hit the submit button

Your form could not be submitted for the following reason(s):

This is a godaddy linux hosted account with cpanel with the following in the htaccess file:
AddHandler fcgid-script .php .html

Thanks Scott,
I followed the instructions, and still come up with the same error message. I have the latest version of form builder, I have a valid "From" address, and I verified the address with goDaddy support.

The problem seems to come from hosting with cpanel. I had an older version of their hosting plan where the same forms worked fine. I decided to move the site to a new URL which required that I get the new hosting plan with cpanel.

When I spoke with goDaddy they said that I need to create a php form mailer on cpanel. Is that something I can adjust within the form settings?

James, this may or may not help any. I use GoDaddy but don't have a cPanel. However, on the control panel I do have, there is an option to create a form mailer. Not sure if this is a 'php mailer' that you are talking about. Here are some screen shots of what I have...

If this is similar to what you have on your panel, simply fill it out with your email and see if it will then work. If not, maybe Scott can come up with a better plan....

Thanks Gunsmoke,

The hosting account you have is the one i used to have that is no longer offered by godaddy. With cpanel, there is no form mailer script built-in.

Hmm, I'm at a loss then. Let me look around. I know there are some other threads dealing with GoDaddy and email. Let em see what I can find...

Thanks again,

I made the changes, and confirmed. These didn't work either.

I wish I had my old hosting account - everything worked like a charm!

James, why not publish to S-Drive then? This would get you up and running right away.

I have all the same problems, but am not on GoDaddy, I am hosting on Blacknight.com.

Problem started in late February too....

I can't use S-Drive as Scott suggests because I have more than on form and that requires a paid S-Drive account.

Did anyone get a solution for this problem?

Thanks
