I will try 2.3.5152 o see if that works

I could not find 2.3 5152 but installed 2.3 5172 this version works and the form displays so there is a difference in one of the reference files. So I will stick with the earlier version.If I get time I will change the compatibility to XP as it may be the change to work with Win 8 that caused the problem. That would be why Jo has no problem. Good news the display options in this version work also.

I do not think it is the export code but one of the files in the form folder as I used an output from a 1.1 version and the form displays OK, so it was whatever was changed between 2.3 5172 on. If I had time I would do a file replacement one by one to find the culprit.

There again I might be barking up the wrong tree, maybe it is the operating system ????? or ME

This is bugging me and I am having fun with it now. As there are a lot of files involved I am knocking up a special file compare program to sort it out. This is now almost an obsession but enjoyable all the same.
One version works the other does not. The effect is not wide spread so this is for my satisfaction only. I want to find out why, another Everest.

Actually I have been meaning to do something like that for ages as I have lots of copies of things that you cannot just use file dates to compare.It is a bit by bit / line by line thing.

If I get this app working I will give you the drum. I am about 10% in. As long as directory content is similar it is not to hard to do. Got to be a part time exercise as I'm working on several projects.
