Emails from my forms stopped coming through around noon (PST) Friday 22nd.

Hosted on go-daddy. Anyone else or is it only me? :(

Hiya Steve,

Have you checked your webmail spam boxes to make sure they haven't been all of a sudden flagged as spam or junk? Make sure they weren't automatically deleted also via the same system. Check this in the webmail and also in your email client program if you use one.

Also have you checked with Godaddy to see if they changed anything? If you were getting the emails prior to this issue, then it's most likely something with Godaddy as the form itself doesn't change itself at all so if it worked before, then it's most likely something in your hosting setup.

Thanks Jo Ann,

Not the first time GD has messed up. Currently an hour wait to get through to them. Posted this here as much as a heads up to others who may be expecting mail.

Nothing is hitting the GD hosted email account or being sent to others. I figure it is something GD has changed with their Mail service but have not had chance to talk with them yet.

Will post resolution when found.

I host with GoDaddy too. No problem getting 'normal' email.

However, I tried sending myself an email from a form I designed and I haven't gotten it yet.

This is all I could find out from GoDaddy ....

Some of our customers in India are experiencing difficulty connecting to our email servers. Our team is working to fix the problem as quickly as possible. No emails were lost during this issue. We appreciate your patience and understanding and we apologize for any inconvenience.

May have something to do with it. Not sure how the email routers send things

Is Godaddy again - may be time to move!

"Some shared servers are currently having trouble with all webform style email"

"No ETA for being fixed"

They claim all from emails will eventually come through and none will be lost. Good to have the csv backup....:D

Their suggestion to me - wait it out, but to fix long term, pay for your own server rather than shared.

It happened to me but it is my provider Bigpond. My solution was to take out a gmail address and have that bounce emails to me. My provider likes gmail but not my host.

@Viv - Thanks for the suggestion vs. Sdrive but these forms are https: forms on my domain including one for payment gateway. Have looked at S drive previously and do not think it will work?

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
