I saw a form with checkboxes that Gunsmoke set so that when a checkbox is checked, it opens a corresponding text box. When it is unchecked, the textbox is hidden. See:

Is this ability built into WFB? If so, how do I use it?

Did you know that Web Form Builder can be used for both simple and complicated forms and that it's not limited to the default fonts and buttons? Take a look at a form we developed for WindowTinting.com.

It IS built into WFB. You create a form with the checkboxes and the element that is supposed to appear when certain boxes are checked, and then in the properties of the element that you want to appear you set the conditions.

I spent a lot of time this morning looking for the conditional settings and couldn't find them. I suddenly had a thought! That happens occasionally, but apparently not this morning. Check the version number! I was using the previous version of WFB that did not have the conditionals. I installed the latest version and voila! There they are!

Hello,

I have figured out how to make the conditional elements appear but how do you then use those inputs to tally a payment? I don't see a place to multiply the items chosen to make a total and then a payment? Can someone shed some light on this for me? I have successfully set up other forms for this client with their PayPal but this one with the conditional options has me stumped.

Hi Kathleen,

It will tally the results but only when you submit and it takes you to the next screen. If you want the total to be available before you hit submit you will need to do some custom coding. Search the forums I believe Eric has several examples out there already.
