Can't "select list to match fields"...

Apologies if this has been answered somewhere else - I've looked and looked but can't find a relevant thread...

I have set up a Mailchimp account, built a form using WFB, followed all the instructions in the http://www.coffeecup.com/help/articles/how-to-configure-mailchimp/ article to the letter, as far as the bit where you have to check the "Publish to List" box next to the list name and click "Match Fields". When I do that I just get a box that says "Please select a list to match fields". Now the name of the list comes up fine, just as I entered it when I set it up in Mailchimp, so I must be connected to Mailchimp and I'm pretty sure that's all configured OK, but I get this message whether I check the box next to it or not.

Why can't Mailchimp/WFB see that I've selected the list?

When you wish to use a set of options in your form, such as those in a Radio Button element, you must also create the same set of options in your corresponding MailChimp list. And when we say "the same," we really mean it: completely identical in every way.

Thanks for getting back to me SirAGE.

Yes, I've been very careful to set everything up identically, but the thing is that I can't even get as far as the point where I match WFB up with Mailchimp. I can't select the list, or to be more accurate, I can select it but WFB doesn't seem to recognise that I've selected it.

Here's the message I get:

As I understand it I shouldn't encounter any error message about missmatches until I've been through the step after this which is when I match up the fields...

That's the article I've been following. :)

OK...
    - Sign in to Mailchimp account: Check
    - Create a list (list name, default from name, etc): Check
    - Create sign up form in WFB, including the all important email address (& all identical to Mailchimp elements): Check
    - Click Settings, then Mailing List and enter API Key, then click Go: Check
    - Check the box under Publish to List: Check
    - Select the list and click Match Fields: Oops I'm stuck on the select list screen...

I can't even get as far as the Uh Oh Something Went Wrong section.

Hm, attempting form building at the same time as cooking toad in the hole is probably not such a good idea. Maybe I'll come back to it later... :D

All you need to do is click on the list name. If you look, no list was selected. The check-box is not what you use to select it. Just click on it and it will work. ;)

Oh for crying out LOUD, Scott! How gormless am I?? No gorm whatsoever... Mind you, I did tick the box, untick it, tick it again, untick it... Just never thought to click on the actual list name. Oh well, you live and learn :)

I experienced the same thing and finally after a few tries realized I had to click directly onto the list name. I worked through getting the forms to match up, everything is working peachy king, however, when I did a test run and completed the form, everything worked fine except when I went to MailChimp the information was not there! I manually inputted it into the MailChimp list which is totally a waste of time and defeats the purpose of using MailChimp. Any ideas as to what's going on?
