event transition is huge

I've only had this happen for a couple of sites. Without any provocation the event transition will be really huge...like twice its usual size. This hides the X to close the event transition screen.
I remember going into the xml and seeing if there was a number out of wack but I never found the problem. I have reset the size and changed the size to small and back to large to see if that would replace an error, but didn't help.
In the past I believe I ended up redoing the calendar from the beginning. I use a PC and the version is 4, from 2007.

Anyone know why this happens and how to keep it stable? Otherwise, I luv this calendar.

I would suggest you update to the newest version that is dated March of 2008 to see if that addresses your issue patricia, then let us know again if it still happens :)

Strange things happen to me with this calendar all the time . . . I am slowly losing my confidence with this program as it looks highly unprofessional when things are constantly buggy . . .

I have the newest version (4.2) and I have never seen this problem until just now . . .

I added an event, same as always, saved it, uploaded it through the program as always, then I checked it online - and what happens is exactly what Patrica explains . . . the event box that comes up is of medium size (i guess) when the calendar is small . . and this puts the X to close this box outside of the clickable area and thus you are stuck!

I will try to reload the calendar among other things and let everyone know if it gets fixed . . . however the unstability of this program makes me look unprofessional . . . I really like CC software in general but this calendar needs a review, and the posts are all common and consistent to give evidence of this . . . CC don't fail me now!

ugh Cheers.

Okay,

this at least doesn't appear to be a lingering effect . . .

I made sure to close the internet window I had my webpage open in, and clear all temp files/cookies/etc.

Then I opened my first calendar in the program, saved and uploaded it again, and exited the program promptly after uploading . . .

Then I opened up my second calendar and save/upload it and promptly exited the program again . . .

(Normally I will edit, save, and upload both calendars in the same session)

Anyway, somehow along the way this resolved the problem . . . and simply closing IE and emptying the cache and restarting the computer didn't work . . . I know some are going to think it was me, or I don't know what I am doing because this is no direct solution . . . but clearly others have had this issue, and the calendar seems touchy sometimes . . . sooooo who knows . . . just redo the basic steps while IE is not open and your cache is cleared and you might get through it ?!

Aww well.

You may want to put a support ticket in to see if there can be a fix even though at times it appears to be working properly.

I am having this exact same problem. I have tried everything! No matter what I do, it is too large, the x is gone and there is no closing it after that. If anyone has any solutions, I am willing to try anything! Help...before I throw my computer through a window!!
