Well, I'm home and I found the button Show Desktop to the far right. :)

Adam, I knew about the Windows key + D, but I wanted to have it easier. I had also got it into the start menu, but that also implied more than a simple click. Also, right-clicking on the taskbar brought up Show desktop as one of the options, but that too was not just a simple click. Your 2nd option is not available to me, be it my language version or because I just have Home premium. A couple of the other options there are equally not available to me. I liked your last option, but as I now have the far right thingie, I won't need it.

Thanks again everybody! :)
Ha en riktig god dag!

I've had windows 7 for just a month and one thing that I can't find out is how to get the blimmin' Show desktop button fastened to the task bar. I've got it as far as onto the desktop, but that kind of defeats the object...

Help appreciated.

That and the up a directory tree button are 2 things I miss from Windows XP.
