Viv, At Christmas time the offer I bought from Netfirms was not for a pre made website but for a site to be provided for or the server space for a site. I will be making up my own site. The server space and domain name have been sitting idle and unused since then. The six year old site discussed in my previous post is my painting web site of which I made with the VSD it existed for a number of years before made with an old frontpage express I am still trying to get traffic to it and generate customers from it I am still working on that and trying to get good SEO I am thinking that I should get the paint site working good before starting on the store site

Greg why don't you start a new thread under VSD, so we are not hijaking this one, there are some tips which can be passed on regarding your other wewbsite, which may have got lost in a previous thread you were on

I can then give you some pointers, and no doubt so will a few others in here, there are lots of missing opportunities, in your headings, keywords, and urls, plus i suspect you may not have registered, things neatly yet with google, yahoo, bing etc.

I learnt most of what i do in these forums, always pleased to pass on to others, and if you use Skype live chat, i may be able to talk directly late one evening UK if it helps

That is alright Viv I only offered that to those that wanted a form to be used as a payment method. No biggie the offer only lasted a couple of weeks. All of the devices I come up with initially are for me sometimes I think why not offer it to others, Beta testing helps. It helps with development of the bigger projects I am working on. The Canal has changed very little, in past 35 years as i remember it, going up and down by boat all those years, apart from lots of blocks of flats in apsley area, a nice little housing estate on the canal at springwel, and a fairly big development at Harefield.
