Adam have you seen this site? http://hostpeek.com/

I did. It actually helped push me toward HostGator being in the #1 spot on 3 out of the 4 front page charts. :) I have a shared account w/ them as well already, so I'm familiar with their service as well, just not yet as a reseller.

I would imagine a company with a larger customer base would also increase the potential for a higher rate of rants/negative remarks and we all know more people speak up when angry than happy. However the love/hate percentages go, I'm glad that most of us have been happy with whoever we've been using for hosting. :D

That's the only thing that matters, that you are happy with the service.

haha! I haven't had any of those problems and I been with GoDaddy for almost ten years. Its so funny that people build sites like this, why not just NOT use them if they don't like them lol!

I've also had no trouble transferring domain names with GoDaddy, although when I had to acquire domain from a client that had previously registered with Network Solutions, getting NS to give up the domain turned into a nightmare that required me to personally visit the client's office around 6 times to call NS (because the client HAD to be on the phone, NS wouldn't talk to me).

Approx. one month and a half dozen phone calls after I began the transfer process I finally had the domain name in my possession. What was so funny is that, throughout the process, NS never stopped trying us to talk us into staying with them; as if we would even CONSIDER that after receiving almost the worst customer service from them that we'd ever experienced!

Yea, you would have to get me pretty p... off to dedicate building a website to try to bring someone down.

Of course the client had to be the one to transfer a domain, and not the developer. That is true with any registrar. Unless, you prefer to have just anyone transfer (hijack) your domains?

Best Hosting service in my opinion is Ixwebhosting.
24/7 helpline - phone or chat service
Free TL domains with the various packages
Excellent prices for very comprehensive facilities
I've got 20+ domains hosted with them, and have never had any problem.
