HELLO EVERYONE!

I hope everyone had a great week!

Okay, so I'm back for more tech advice. You all know I'm a tad technologically challenged & I almost always come here for help - such great people!

So this is what I want to do. I want to capture a video that is playing at a website and I want to record the audio with it.

I know to use the YouTube downloader thing for YouTube vids & that works perfectly for YouTube.

But let's say I want to capture video that doesn't have a direct link, something like this Brad Pitt video clip:

http://extratv.warnerbros.com/videos/?autoplay=true&mediaKey=1c98a019-3d76-4423-a409-b04aa2ff3400

***I think a little commercial ad might play before the Brad Pitt video begins***

I've done some research on screen capturing and I thought I'd found what I was looking for with ACA Capture Pro, but that didn't work. I communicated w/tech support a few times and they didn't even know if it would work w/my Windows version - Vista 64bit. So they suggested I try the ACA Screen Capture. Tried it. Was able to capture the video by selecting the specific region but the results were terrible. There was no sound and the video was a shade of blue.

So, does anyone know if there is a way to capture the video & audio of a video on a site like I've listed above?

Thank you SO MUCH!

Luv you all!

Look into Applian software as they have a couple solutions for capturing video and audio streams. I did check and it will catch that video.

You're welcome. Not quite as good as the one that allows stealing peoples Facebook login details at Starbucks over WIFI while they're sipping lattes and showing off their macs, but good in it's own right. :)

OMG that is just lame. If someone is at Starbucks and is stealing people's FB login details - they need a little bit more to do in their daily life huh? I guess some people just can't help themselves though. If that ever happened to me & I caught the person, I'd pull out a HUGE can of whoop a$$! ?

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
