That only works for people in the UK...

Our stations got it wrong had me up the day before at 5-30am. Whenever a show like this happens it is always in the wee hours or just starting at 11pm at night. Wish you guys would catch up we are at least 10 hours in front of just about every country

I just watched it tonight, ha it on my pvr.. only problem is that my pvr sets my a block of time, and not by however long show is on for.. so since it went over time I didn't get to see it all. My recording stopping just as the torch was being run in.

At the end of the closing ceremony the couldron flame lowers to the ground and the flame will go out.

Then they are going to remove each of the copper petals and give one to the team of each country who participated in the games. I think the idea is so that they can keep a piece of London 2012.

Background music

This is the background theme music from the Opening Ceremony and was highlighted most during the 10 minutes from the torch entering the stadium to actual lighting of the main flame by 7 future athletes.

The music certainly fitted the occasion.
