Just wanted to introduce myself. I've been reading some of the items, but never added any comments or questions.

I'm Dona from Maryland. Been working with websites for the past 10 and a half years -- professionally for the past 7 years.

I use many different HTML editors, but usually come back to coffeecup's html editor. It feels comfortable and is about 75% perfect.

Anyway, hi.

Dona

PS Does anyone else get startled when the lyrics "I Love Coffee in a Cup" play after an installation? I always jump about two inches out of my chair.

Scares the bleep out of me, too!

I'm also new, Dona. Frank. Welcome.

Hello,
I'm keith.
I have purchased and downloaded the entire CC suite of apps.
I need to build a little web site for my customers, related to my job as a business2business sales agent.

I am ready to start and to learn as I go.

Just one question - which of CC applications would you recommend I explore first- (to make a new web site happen on my local computer), and then 2nd, 3rd?
That info should keep me busy for a while.

many thks,
Keith
P.S. I am a little technical ( I have made a simple site with MS FrontPage in the past) But, it wasn't fun.
I just don't know which of the CC products to start with.

Welcome Keith.

I would start with the "Visual Site Designer" as a fun, fast way to get things up-and-running. Once you beging to learn and understand some .html, you may want to try the HTML Editor.
Other great software that requires no coding experience are the Form Builder and Photo Gallery, which can look really impressive and be inserted into a Visual Site Designer website.
One suggestion;
Start with one program, learn how to use it and then try another one. Trying them all will take some time, but you will soon learn which ones do what you need them to do for you.
Good Luck

Sorry folks but I could not resist it. I am Australian 65 and a right P.I.T.A behind these old eyes lurkes a 18 year old. I program which keeps my mind active and annoy people with sometimes dumb questions. I too have only been a member for a short while and plan to hang around for a while.

I am impressed most of all with the standard of support I have received from CC at all levels.

No wonder they are repected as they are. To the rest of you I will say a hearty G'DAY

Adam,

I just read the two previous posts, and my wife piped in with "I love it. It is so laid back and fits in with the photograph of the staffers so well."

I must admit that I think the song is cute (at least for the first few times). :)

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
