James, It's really easy. I had a few minutes a lunch today and altered my background image on the forum to match the website that it's being used on. I just changed the name of the original to include the word backup on the tail end then uploaded my website background to the same folder after I change its name to that of the forum original background image. Worked great. I just keep thinking of things to change. The smf forum is also a good resource. I'm trying to get my favicon to work but so far it won't show.

I can't hear what I'm looking at.

A friend and I created a Dungeons & Dragons Online forum for a guild I am in on that game. Here's a screenshot to show you what can be done with it, it's really a slick system. I'd give you the link to the site but it's all protected so you wouldn't see much of it anyways lol.

This started out as an old brown yucky looking Pirate Theme. Chose it because we liked how it was laid out and we changed all the graphics from the Header bars to the Background and even the Menu setup. It's really a very editable system. Much more so than phpBB is.

Thanks as always, I'll be back

Yes, inside the public_html folder. Everything that's supposed to be displayed on the web has to be inside that.
Ha en riktig god dag!

yep, what I did was just call the folder forums so that it was easy to link to later so just create a folder named forums (or whatever works for you) inside the public_html folder and then install the SMF inside that folder.
Hmmm seems to be an issue with user-name/password into MY SQL, We shall see.

Tony do you have access to the cPanel of your webserver?
Jo Ann, Would you know where I can find the call for the image that shows that there are no new messages? Would it be in the Darking theme index or the forum index? I know which image it is and altered the image to my liking but it's a png and I would like to make it an animated gif if thats possible. I did a search for the image in both files in the CC editor but came up empty. I'm going to try again tonight as I was working on it at my lunch break and ran out of time.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
