Has anyone else tried out Firefox Developer Edition?
Firefox Developer Edition is experimental and may be unstable.

I got a "lesson" in unstable today :lol: Spent a good hour or so trying to figure out why some social links/buttons had disappeared from a site after I made some changes to the main nav (which shouldn't affect the social stuff). I couldn't get the menu to work, so deleted all the code for it and reloaded without it. Opened the site in Firefox DE and noticed the social buttons had gone missing, although they were still in the HTML and showed up fine in preview (Firefox-non developer version). All files were in place on the server.
Instantly assumed I'd messed up somewhere and went straight to Firebug (in Firefox DE)....rather than doing the obvious and checking it with another browser. :P

But I do like the new Firefox DE, even if I can't quite trust it yet!

Lol I hate it when I jump to a conclusion before noticing the obvious. I haven't tried it yet but i think I'll let you work out the kinks.;)
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

It does have some nice features built in. You might like this:
/*
* This is a JavaScript Scratchpad.
* Enter some JavaScript, then Right Click or choose from the Execute Menu:
* 1. Run to evaluate the selected text (Ctrl+R),
* 2. Inspect to bring up an Object Inspector on the result (Ctrl+I), or,
* 3. Display to insert the result in a comment after the selection. (Ctrl+L)
*/

As fast as they're popping out new versions, I would hope things get worked out real soon.

I don't use Firefox , I'm a Chrome man.

Firefox signed a deal with Yahoo now to use them as their default search engine..

I say no no..

I stay with Google ;)

You do realize that it makes absolutely no difference what the default search engine of a browser is don't you? You set that yourself when you get it installed so if you want Google you set it to google lol. Silly Matt :P

Hey Matt,

Just so you know you could always set Google as the home page of any browser too. But on a side note I prefer chrome too but for slightly different reasons. I love that I don't have to be constantly updating my browser every time Firefox pushes out an update. Chrome is a very stable browser.
