I wanted to copy a page I had designed in one vnu file to another and as VSD cannot have two instances at once I found the solution.
Open the file/website and the page you want to copy select copy page. Close website. Open the website you wish to copy the page into and select paste page you may have to change a name or accept the random one. It will certainly do until there is a better method.

I have found this to work well. I first now start a new website from theme even. design the page and save with a description of the page in the website name.
I can open one choose copy page like I said above and after closing that and opening the site to insert the saved page to, I do just that.

I program and it is a thing with programmers that bits of code are identified and saved. I use Keynote for this. So by using the same technique the web site snippets become useful for inclusion in other sites.
That way you do not have to reinvent the wheel each time.

I suggested people share vnu files but that appears to have gone over like a lead balloon. Ahh well! this way you share with yourself and keep the precious designs to yourself

I've been waiting for someone else to get started so I could see how this actually works (I'm a bit fuzzy on the instructions), also... I'm not sure anyone would want my designs
But it would be great when people are asking for lay-out/design help to be able to post a sample page for them.

I come up with all sorts of weird ideas so I am not surprised. A lot of the members are web designers who probably do want to keep there stuff to their self aka CC selling themes.

Did you read the PDF? trouble with my instructions what makes sense to me often confuses the hell out of people. I need a technical writer working with me.

As I said above. The copy page function is handy and would be good to use with donated designs.

As far as sharing basically I am saying. Using the storage folder of someones S_Drive account just upload a VNU website called share. Refer my link I put up. Actually any name would do.

Don't rubbish your skills I think they are good and so would a lot of others. I guess I too have been waiting for a response first. I will put one up perhaps with some fancy flash stuff. I found my old copy of Swish and am about to play with it.

Haven't tried if I can upload zip files yet. VSD sure has given me time, That is why I am hanging out here. The good news. For Me. The ability to easily fine tune my site has doubled my Google Adsense earnings Yeh!

Do you know most of the programs I create there are two versions one I give away one I sell. You have always have to have some giveaways. As CC does with its trials.

I always think I am a lousy web site designer but that might change now as I have been looking at the websites of those that post. Guess what you can do a screen grab and it don't take much to come up with a fair proximity. I will give you the drum. Sign up to Google Adsence and iron in some adverts. coin you a nice tidy sum each month. Pays for the internet charges. plus nice programs like VSD, Form Builder etc. Trouble is they pay in $US and we are going past parity.

Do you know we have the most uranium in the world and only one reactor just about 10km from where I live. Only used for nuclear medicine. We have a nuclear free continent. New Zealand is worse than us will not even let nuclear powered ships in their ports.
