Well i will miss out on CC forum for a few days, starting from now, due to our sons girlfriend having to baby sit through Christmas as her parents are working.

Christmas therefore has been brought forward 24 hours in our household, so they can be together as it is their first Christmas together

So wishing one and all a very merry Christmas and happy new year from here in UK as PC's mobile phones, and other irritating communication devices are now banned in our household for at least 36 hours.

I've just returned from the last minute shopping my wife sent me to and guess what, I received an early present from the City of New York a $115 ticket for double parking. The guy didn't even blink when he gave it to me. I told him "merry christmas", he responded "same to you".
Now I'm not sure if I should deduct this amount from my wife's Christmas gift this year, or maybe I will keep it in my mind for the next year Christmas........
