It is HIGH time there were some Mac OS X software selections being offered by Coffee Cup...

Mac users are not some vocal, tiny minority. They number in the millions and it would be a profitable combination to offer software for OS X and then bundle it with BlueDomino hosting services...

There are dozens of small and large opportunities to easily add value to current Mac software offerings (RapidWeaver plugins, iPhoto gallery plugins, Flux add-ons...)

It's time to make the move

As A Dedicated Mac User I have long given up the dream of Coffee Cup in Mac versions. Although I started this thread, I did so with a huge amount of delusional euphoria!!! .... LOL LOL

I do all of my design on Macs, but I'll jump on my windows PC to add a form, or calendar etc, to my sites. Personally, I believe if Coffee cup made their software in Mac form, there would be an avalanche of mac users using the software. To be honest, Coffee cup Software is just as intuitive as Mac software running natively on a Mac.

The advantages strikingly clear. Are you listening CC developers!!!!!!

I would dearly love to see Coffee Cup applications, particularly the HTML Editor, available for the Mac and would be amongst the first in line to buy. Shopping Cart Creator looks interesting and I'm hoping that a Mac version will be forthcoming.

CC has promised us a couple of times (I see remarks on this forum back in 2005) that we would soon have a Mac version of CC. I recently moved to MAC, bought Dreamweaver, but would love to have my good old coffeecup back for my MAC. Can you please please get this sorted?

Positing a comment is a first for me, but reading some of the recent posts here... I'm moved to say something.
Number 1: Bashing a company on their own forum is tacky and unprofessional and leaves me uninclined to pay any attention to what the author has to say.
Number 2: I use PC at home and MAC at work. They both have their strengths, love the Mac operating system - hate the price tag. Having said that, I would love to run CoffeeCup software directly on a Mac.
Number 3: I use Adobe software daily at work, i.e Creative Suite and others. I repeat, love the software, hate the price tag.
Number 4: I have never built a website before and tried CC Visual Designer to see what I could do - great price, simple to use. Quite frankly, I didn't do too darn badly. for those thinking of trying Coffee Cup software for the first time, go here princerupertnews.com and see what a newbie did over the weekend with it.
The jerk who couldn't handle the program - just can't handle a program. It's not the fault of the software. The functions may be limited but they do what they do great... and you sure can't knock the price... especially for a newbie.

I use the entire Adobe CS4 Suite of products myself, but I would never compare Adobe products to CC simply because they are targeting two completely different markets: Adobe is targeting the PROFESSIONAL who wants software that can do a million different things. Coffee Cup is targeting the NOVICE who wants to design an entire web site in one weekend (above post is case-in-point).

BOTH of these companies have greatly succeeded at what they set out to do. The fact that some semi-professional web designers, such as myself, have chosen to use Coffee Cup software is simply a testament to how good it is!

PS-I've spent much time trouble-shooting my Adobe products just as I have Coffee Cup. Technical problems are just the nature of technology. In fact many of us on these boards actually enjoy solving these little problems, that's why we're here :-)
