On this note, I saw a post on this by Adam R. but couldnt find it and some may find this useful. With flash form builder, go to the auto-responder email area of the form settings and insert a link(what ever you want to tell a friend). Then just make a field to enter the email address and label it "tell a friend". Now when a email address is entered the auto-responder email will go to them with the link.

Hey, hey, your are correct, sir. ;) Here's the demo I made from Web Form Builder front and center on my ugly testing page:

Also, here's the original thread mentioned:
http://www.coffeecup.com/forums/our-des … mail-form/

*Note: For those actually testing out the demo:
If you insert a fake email address, you won't get to see what the auto-reply (to that address) looks like. I promise there's no logging of addresses given. I hate spam as much as anyone. ;)

I second that! I tried to do what Adam and Rod suggested and it kinda of work.

However... the "from" email field is blank and I need the "from" email field to be the an email address that a user can filled in...

Any ideas? Otherwise really need Tell a Friend program!

I think with most services, the from email address will be the service's address, not the one filling it out. If it allowed changing the from address to anyone else's entered, those emails would most likely be filtered as spam by most servers since the email address would be considered "spoofed." Then again, my form's auto-reply says it's from adam@coffeecuphelpDOTnet, so who knows. :P If yours is blank, there might be a PHP setting on the host server that needs tweaking. :|

Adams, thanks for your reply.

I can make it non-blank by setting a "to" email address.

But in this case I need this to be a "tell a friend" script so it'd make sense for somebody to send their friend an email with their email address. When their friend receive that email, it would be an email that's sent from the user but not a corporate one. I think if my friend receive an email from a corporate email address it'd appear as spam in that case.

Hope it makes sense.. I'm guess there's no way around this ;(
