hiya Carl,

I think you forget that it doesn't matter when you by Coffeecup software, because upgrades are free for life so if you buy it now you can use it now as well as when the updates come out :)

Hi CoffeeCup team,

A simple request from a simple webmaster - who is not very clever.

How about a simple hit counter for webpages? - I did make the same request some years ago but I am still waiting.

Best wishes for the future - happy 2010

I purchased CoffeeCup when I started on a website, late in life and new to the world of computer language.

I know I didn't use a tenth of what was there, but CC did what it said it would, & got me through a steep HTML learning curve.

ONLY ONE MINOR PROBLEM: I am a film maker/photographer, and very early on became a MAC user, so CC went into hibernation.

Now I read, AT LAST:
"CoffeeCup for the Mac: This has to be our most common request, and we’re dedicated to making it happen this year."

Well, I've waited 5 years so a few more months is tolerable - but all the same, PLEASE HURRY UP!!!! :)

Hi!

Would like to be able to allow some users to add content to my site, but hate DB-based ulra-heavy site building systems.

Had tried to make one myselve, but got problems with IE/Mosilla differences.

May send you the basic ideas if you are interested.

Finally CC HTML Editor for the MAC! Now please do it right and make it a full Mac application, not a rehashed PC version. After switching to the Mac 2 years ago, your program is the only one I have missed. Thanks for doing this!!

As part of the CoffeeCup for Mac idea, if you could put both PHP and Ruby on Rails (RoR) IDE features in there it would be great.

To me all the RoR IDEs on Mac are slow and too daunting for the beginner.

I use VSD, and tried the Live Chat trial. I would LOVE to have Live Chat on my website, but not in it's present form. Could Coffee Cup fix the following Live Chat issues:
-After a customer logs off, his name keeps re-appearing on the Admin screen. Sometimes this wipes out the current chat on the admin screen.
-Sometimes the current chat disappears from the admin screen for no reason.
-Add the option of a "sign off" message.
-On each web page, have an indicator that indicates whether the Live Chat is available or not available so the customer does not have to go to the chat page if Chat is not available.
Thanks, and Happy 2010!

Do you have any scripting ability for your software? I make many pages with similar content with just a variable change. So if I could change that variable throughout the page quickly that would really help me a lot.

Hiya Joel,

I can't speak for all of the software, but I can for the HTML Editor that it has a nice little Snippet setup where you can put code you use a lot and call it up easily to put it into your current pages. Nice feature. Not sure if any of the other software has anything like that, I haven't looked at all.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
