I would like to see some of the Coffee Cup software be incorporated into Joomla or other CMS systems.
I LOVE the HTML Editor. Would like to see PHP editing and checking.
Thanks for great tools.

Have you checked out Sourcerer: (http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions … /sourcerer). It provides an easy way of incorporating the output of some Coffeecup apps into Joomla sites.

The HTML editor indeed is a great tool -- that's why it wins awards!

CoffeeCup makes great easy to use software for beginners to grasp and powerful enough for experts to love. Anyone who programmes in PHP are already experts, so the need for CoffeeFup to cater to experts-only market doesn't seem quite CoffeeCup, to say the least. A PHP editor needs to be a mostrous creature, where it's definitely not simple, not basic and of course I say all this of my own opinion, and not the company's.

Maybe they're working on one? Who knows. You'll be crossing your fingers eh?
My tee shirt site http://www.teedojo.com, warmly and fuzzily done with SCC + SCD. I kinda like it even if I've yet to sell any shirts! Hah!

Catch me and say hi!. I don't bite, but I will help you with your website so you can kickstart your web presence today.

Most people will just put html tags inside a single php tag to create a php site instead of an html site. It's kind of silly. Most CC users will not be creating custom cms scripts so it is a moot point.
CoffeeCup... Yeah, they are the best!

I use the CoffeeCup html editor when working on CoffeeCup, Drupal, Gallery2, phpgedview and other php scripts.
and I use eclipse, wincvs, winmerge, diffdaff, notepad++, cygwin, tortoise and others.
The world is full of neat toys.
My shameless plug in this Joomla thread.. :)
And yes, I do use CoffeeCup software when doing stuff for my Drupal sites. I have had drupalers ask me how did you do that... lol, with my CoffeeCup ;)

Not the first time people have asked me that either Dave. Of all of the CC apps, Form Builder is perhaps my favourite as it's so configurable. I use it on virtually every site that I do, be it Joomla, Xara, whatever. The other thing is, the CC apps don't have back-links like a lot of "free" widgets, which is one of my pet hates.

I disagree with some of the comments above. I code in PHP, and still love to use programs likce Coffee Cups software line. It doesn't matter if we are considered experts or not. Web designers always are looking for easy ways to add great features. I use Joomla and Coffee together all the time. Coffee Cup software is for all...:):)

I have no problem giving credit where it's due if I use a free widget or theme. It would be easy to remove the backlinks or credits in the php files but I don't because someone has worked hard to create the free widget or theme. I do alter them to make them less obtrusive to the site.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
