I have just bought Sitemapper but am waiting until I've finished revamping my current site before unleashing it.

I've noticed the software is set up to to look at the actual web, not stuff stored locally.
I keep a backup of my site on my PC, right down to the last detail including the folder hierachy. - is there any way to get the program to crawl offline files?

No. The program is built to crawl like search engines, therefore, it only works on a live site. There would be no reason to have the program crawl the local disc, when you have to upload it live at some point anyway.

I make sitemapper my last function before I go live officially. :D

Thanks Eric.
The reason I wanted to crawl locally is that I'm rearranging my site and its links, I just wanted to see how rearranging things would affect the sitemap.

IF thats the case, then after looking at Scott's recommendation, the local server option might be good - if its that important to you.
