Added two columns on a page, background color added, look good in design mode but when I preview it neither column shows. I have them labeled, picture links in one which do show, but the column itself doesn't appear.
What am I missing?
(it's been too long since I worked on any website, sorry)

Could you let us see the page in question? I haven't got my crystal ball handy

What height did you set the columns to (or the parent container) ?

Did you use CSS Grid to create the columns, or the old fashioned Sub-Grid?

Thanks for the replies. I'm not sure how to share the page, it's not online.
Both columns are set to automatic width and height. They were added via the Components grid.
A header from the Components grid shows up. My logo and FB links show up.

If you build a page using CSS grid, the grid itself won't be displayed, only what you put into the grid. By the sound of it, if you have added pictures to one of the two columns, the pictures will show but not the empty column. That is normal.

If you want to let us see an unpublished site, you could send it as a zipped attachment, or, if it is too big to pass as an attachment, you could still zip it and upload the project (without actually exporting it and upload it as a site), and then let us have the URL. We could take a look at it to find out whether there is something wrong, or if you need an explanation.

Thank You Inger. With your help I figured out to create a zip file, however it is still telling me the file is too large to attach. 2MB is pretty small. The zip file is 4,604KB.

You probably have some S-drive location, to which you could upload that zipped file, and then post the URL here.

Thank You again Inger. I was able to set up a folder and upload the zip file here-

Hope this works. Telling me I don't have access.

I hadn't any access. Try to make an URL without the '%20'. You probably have a space there. Make the Url without any space, e.g. let it end in 'website-trial' or 'websitetrial'.

It's midnight where I am, so I'll check tomorrow.
