Hi there,
I'm opening up an older project that used the Coffeegrinder framework to make a few changes, and it's asking me to choose a new framework.... ?!

I'm no coder and am short on time to make these changes, so I'm wondering if someone can suggest which of these options will give me the easiest transition please?
I have selected one or two of them but it opens up showing a webpage thats all over the place, and I've cancelled and come straight out again!!
Help please :-)

It doesn't really matter which framework you choose, but if you want to use the most popular one, go for Foundation. There are lots of forum users working with it, so if you need some help, you're guaranteed that someone will chime in.

I second Inger's advice. I use Foundation for all my projects, simply put its the most versatile framework to work with and carries huge support in most online chatrooms and YouTube videos. I have often went to https://get.foundation/ to get extra help as well. They have several examples of each of their elements to look at for reference.

The biggest hurdle is learning how to implement them with SD. Once you get used to the controls of SD and gain an understanding of how they are implemented you will be adding many interactive features to your projects.

The second biggest hurdle is learning to website design in the mobile first approach. If you are a user of the old coffeecup grinder framework this may be tricky to wrap your head around. You may find building in the Materialize framework as it is a desktop down framework similar to the old coffeegrinder one.

I'm wondering whether the reference to Materialize was a slip: I think it's Frameworkless that has the desktop down option.

Yes Frank you are correct! Sorry just me misspeaking. I referred to it as framework is probably a poor choice of words... just meant that it has the Desktop Down ability as Coffeegrinder. In a sense it is a frameworkless framework .

I usually refer to Frameworkless as 'Bare-Bone' or just a 'layout system'. It has become my preferred one, but NOT because of the Desktop-down approach.

I have now made the necessary changes to the project, but have an issue on upload that I'm looking for suggestions please.

The very simple layout has a full page container with background image and a blue border and rounded edges.
This container doesn't seem to be recognised when uploaded in the new version for some reason.

I attach screenshots showing the page using the coffeegrinder framework (with container and blue border) and today's new framework (showing no container - layout all over the place, and therefore no blue border).
The container with border is visible in the software.

I have tried keeping the coffeegrinder files on the server, and removing them to see if that has any effect, but no change.

I'm no coder, and I don't use this software very often these days, so any help would be appreciated before I go around in circles trying to find a solution!
