Create a form within RSD

It's easy Byron

select the column/container/subgrid wherever you want the form to be placed
go to 'content' tab
select the element 'form-container'

go to the element 'input
from the dropdown select one of the elements (label first if you want a label) then keep selecting the different input elements
(putting a label first before the element field)

so for instance for a simple text element you would
1/ choose "label"
2/ choose "input"

underneath that for say a contact number you would
2/select "label" again
3/select the input "telephone number"

and so on and so forth

Edit the label text accordingly

style as required (colours/background colour padding/margins as normal

That's it

Just play around with it until you get what you want it to look like (new blank project)

Nothing complicated about it, until you get to needing to do the background PHP stuff

I wonder, if you create a form in RSD (or one of those other ones) and then fire up WFB and make the same form there, not the styles, only the fields, but so that you get the script and php files. And then if you could just use those script and php files for the forms built in one of those other apps. Probably you need to give the various fields the same name or ID in both apps. Has anyone tried that? Eric?

Inger - wondered the same thing but I couldn't get it to work. Will be curious to see if one of the "smarter than I" folk can make this work. Would be a great work around
