Just seen you use a MAC, maybe then the browser for MAc doesn't recognise the attribute "data-offset" I wouldn't know but if that is the case then I can't help

Wayan, yes, I think we're getting somewhere now... perhaps a Mac doesn't recognise the data-offset but with the padding on container 8 and 10 I did get some promising results. I'll look at this after as I have some errands to do. My other option that I was looking at was to have a sticky menu but with an 'absolute' setting and positioned to the right with transparency.

But I'll play around with the first method and if no luck, plan B...

Well, I think it's getting there using your idea of padding and margins. Like you suspect, maybe a Mac can't accept the offset command or maybe it was the Safari browser. I should have tried on another browser but I've gone in another direction now and it's looking good. The only problem is that if people don't use the 2nd sticky menu, there'll be plenty of white gaps but I think I can live with that!

Will upload the website in a couple of days or so and would be grateful for feedback from people.
