Universal Code and Inline Code...
Hi, Everyone,
How do I insert (1) inline code and (2) universal code in the HTML Element field of the Site Designer editor (built 2879)?
Thanks,
Harold

After having placed a html element on your page, go to the element tree. In the middle of it there is a black field where you paste your code. If you want the html element to appear inline, you have to style it in the styles pane. Find Display, then the More button, and then select inline.

Are you referring to the "Inline Code" or "Universal Code," in your quote as follows: "In the middle of it there is a black field where you paste your code."
Thanks the issue is now resolved

I see you have solved whatever issue you had. But there is only one place to put the code for html elements, and that is where I told you. Whether the code will be 'inline' depends on the actual code. I have just styled some code for a Paypal interface, and I had to write some inline css into the html code that went into that black field on the element tree pane, just as an example.

Hi Hal
Inger will probably be asleep now
go to the structure data tab on your page then choose the tab "page manager"
in there you will see the different sections for
language tick the "use global " box first then choose your language
under that
is "favicon" select the "use global tick box again, then choose either online or local depending on where your favicon is
then place the code for your google analytics/etc in the "head" section
tick the "global" box first if you want any other pages to have the same code etc, then open the other pages, tick the "global" box on those pages & in they go.
You will also see there is where you put page titles, description, keywords etc

Ah, so I misunderstood. If you hadn't initionally mentioned the 'HTML element', I would have known what you were asking.
