Why are you still using version v1.2 Melissa? Version 1.5 has been out for sometime now (since February to be exact).

I got this one as part of a site design deal, from Adam, so I think I wasn't signed up until recently. Still need to download the latest? :)

Thanks. Will give it a go....

Sorry for the confusion, and not downloading the latest. Didn't realize that it was the one that had the themes, and I was waiting until making the decision on whether to upgrade this PC to a newer one, in a few weeks, or so.

Anyway, yes, it was pretty quick and easy to get started now. :/

Would like to center the book picture on the page, and link it to the Amazon purchase page, and also link that center "Buy The Book Now" button to the same page.

For the book image check to see if left/right margin is set to "Auto"if not then set them to auto. Linking for the "Buy The Book on the menu bar is just a matter of selecting the href part of the element box in design view changing the link #action to whatever the link to amazon is ( http://www,amazon.xxx/xxxxxx/xxxxx )_ for example.

The book picture is going to be more difficult because it looks like you just used a plain old image placeholder first, as opposed to the "picture Link "image placeholder, The easiest way would be to replace the image by deleting it and starting again but this time use the picture link button to put the placeholder (making sure once again that the left/right margins are set to auto, then you can put the same link in the same way as the text link "Buy The Book"

Alternatively you would have to apply the link to the book image after exporting it in whatever html editor you are using (I think thats correct, unless someone else knows how to apply a link to a plain image within RSD)

I don't think you can do that with a plain image. You can with text. It would have to be a picture link or after export.

They were, but I'm not sure how that affects the image.

Think I can get that, thanks. I did it enough times in regular HTML.

I didn't do it. I know nothing about setup. I just picked a Theme and tried it.

I tried what you suggested ( replaced it with a picture link ) but still don't know how to center the image.

Well if auto margin left/right doesn't center the image in the column or container it's placed in, then it may be something to do with the width od the column holding the image,, without knowing what the template is that you are using, difficult to see what is causing it or how to get it centered.

I clicked on the column that it appears to be in, but don't see any settings for horizontal alignment, nor do I see any if I just click on the picture.
