Trying to get a simple site up...

I have my own home based business, as many of you know from my past posts. In fact, I had Adam design the initial site for me, using RSD and now own RSD which I use to maintain and amend it.

But I recently volunteered to get a basic page going for The Universal Individual Rights Project, at
http://universalindividualrightsproject.org/

It's just that RSD is so mind-bendingly over my head and I'm working at my home business all day and part of the night, and don't have time to study RSD to do it with that.

VSD is discontinued and won't even work on this ( now ) Windows 10 PC.

I guess I'll have to do this the old fashioned way, with HTML Editor.

Hi Melissa,

I would stick to RSD. It may be a bit of a learning curve but we are here to help you out along the way if you get stumped here or there. Start by creating some rows and columns and dragging and dropping some elements to the fields to build your layout. Once you start using it more it becomes very easy.

I encourage you to watch these tutorials
http://www.coffeecup.com/help/articles/responsive-site-designer-video-tutorials/

In the long run it will save you lots of time... especially if you want a responsive website quickly.

Another thing you could do is select from one of the many templates that came with RSD and just modify it to fit your needs.

Taking over the world one website at a time!

That's my problem Steve, I don't have time right now. I just need something fast and intuitive, like VSD was, to get it going right away. I've spent a few hours of time that I didn't have, trying to figure out how to get started with RSD. It's like Greek to me. I cant do it.

Otherwise, it will have to wait a few months until I can get a PC that has Windows 8.1 instead of Windows 10 and I can run VSD again.

I run Win 10 and VSD still works for me. Maybe support can help you out?

Yes, I know. I was understanding that you already own it.

Where are these templates?

There's a "New From" menu, but just 4 weird names in there. Are those templates?

Not sure what you mean by "4 weird names" there Melissa. There are 13 themes included with RSD that are sure to fit anyone's design.

Just pick a theme and modify the text.

From what menu? I'm using RSD 1.2 and see no new project index anywhere. I looked at the full sized photo you just posted, but see nothing like that anywhere in my RSD.
