'Translating' something off the...

Some of you will have studied the Matco theme that we got some time ago, and seen that the main navigation had been 'translated' sideways off the canvas, and it can be called into view by a click on a button. Well, that was in Materialize. I would like to use the same technique in Foundation, but I have run into problems when trying to make a button 'untranslate' the menu so that I can make it appear to be able to click on a menu item. Has anyone found a way to do that? I would be interested in a way to do it in BS also.

I was fiddling with a file where I was trying to do this, but I got mad at myself and deleted it ;) , otherwise I would have posted it to let someone try to make it work. But I may make another one tomorrow...

Hi Inger,
I bet you would need to use the appropriate materialize class names and (part of) the materialize.js javascript as well, to make it work. There is also some calculations involved to make the menu scroll, depending on the height of the viewport and the number of menu items.

I'm already looking for alternatives... Wonder if a 'reveal' thingie could do the trick, with some animation to get it back into view...

That's greatly appreciated, Wayan! In the meantime I'm experimenting with this and that. I got a hint from Bob that there might be something in one of the themes I have converted, but if so, I haven't found it yet...
