Transfer pages across projects - Post...
I created a project to hold page templates created for use on a large existing site I am transferring into RSD format. I then created another project with the intention of copying over the templates, adding content, than saving the template page with a different name for publication as needed.
I now realize that I should probably have created and stored the templates within the same project used for publication as I can't find a way to copy a template page over from one project to another. Anyone know of a method to accomplish this? Thanks.

Don't know if I understand exactly, but you should be able to create a project that can be used as a template, and then save it as exactly that - a template. As far as I understand, the 'blank' templates that you can choose when opening RSD, are also saved templates, just like that.

Another way of saying it:
I created two projects, both for use with a single website. One project was just for creation and storage of re-usable templates to be used in the second (actual website) project. I realize now this was probably a bad idea since it seems impossible to copy a single page and transfer it out of one project and into another, unless this can be done outside of the program through file transfers. (an unfortunate hindrance).
So I was asking if it is somehow possible to copy a single page out of one project and into another.

Not possible from within RSD at the moment, you guessed it right about having to merge then outside of RSD in whichever HTML editor you prefer.
Not even sure that something like that is on the cards, even though many people have asked the same or similar questions.

Yes, I was afraid that was true. After many hours with this software, I tested it by publishing a relatively simple website that requires only small and infrequent changes, However, not having direct access to directories where large amounts of data must be stored and moved around on a regular basis precludes the use of this program for anything of any complexity.
Without a file management system within the program itself, or allowable access via an external file manager, RSD is only useful for simple sites that don't require regular changes of large amounts of content. I don't understand whether this lack of control is necessary for some functional reason or just Coffee Cup's way of keeping their code secured, but it severely limits the usefulness of this software.
RSD offers a great design system, but unfortunately, it falls apart without a fast and efficient way of managing the content.

Would be nice - its on my wish list as I have needed that from time to time
One possible workaround for template transfers could be just copying and pasting the HTML from one page to another, a hassle, but without access to the code even that's impossible.
