Wayans Idea has evolved and morphed into something a bit different which saves rolling out so much "Loo Paper", but it involves a slightly different design concept ----------- NAY ------- a COMPLETELY different design concept

Based on one of Byron's other thread question about the number of pages one can have in Site Designer, I guess now we know why, and for what.

Unfortunately at this moment due to a family tragedy, I am off back to Bali for a few days (possible second lockdown permitting), so cannot provide my other solution for a couple of days. Which by then he may have already managed to get something workable.

Actually, that IS a floating button...
It floats relatively to the page contents but stays put in relation to the viewport.

:D:D
Lost in translation...
What I wanted to say is that maybe Byron can adopt a CSS only solution in order to not burden the page with another script and style declaration in the page itself.

It's easy to do that sort of button, with CSS and just 4 lines of JS (for the fade in-out effect) Actually it could be done with CSS only but that needs custom CSS for the fade in fade out effect as one cannot do that efficiently in Site Designer at the moment.

Are you referring to an opacity transition with dynamic classes and using selector states? I have seen that somewhere around here recently and found it quite intriguing.

Sorry had to help a family member move and was slammed.

Some great ideas - let me look at these and think about it what I can pull off.

Thanks all,

You have Font Icon Links in SD. Check the Elements pane, find the Font Icon button, where you see a tiny down-arrow, then click on that.
Ha en riktig god dag!
