I have made a "How To" Video for styling a menu component like the one top-menu-responsive.

Strangely enough, even this menu seems to have a Flexdirection ROW hardcoded into the CSS once you reach 640px. There is no way to change it in SD. It just stays at a supposed COLUMN setting, while you see the menu switching to ROW orientation.

You can have it as a row or a column
there is another short video on its way showing it as a column or a row all the way up or down
