Toggle breakpoints issue - Page 1 -...

I am having an issue that is mostly an irritation. It occurs on some of my websites, but not on others. If I have the Site Designer breakpoints toggle set to disable all breakpoints and change an image (using foundation), the image will change for the first 2 breakpoints but not the last (largest screen size). I have to change the toggle to the default mode and then change the image for the largest screen size. I can then change the toggle back to disable all breakpoints, and everything else works as it should. As I said, this does not occur with all of my websites. Is there a setting or something that I am missing? I can live with it, but it sure is irritating.

I think that for most people it is better never to use 'Disable All Breakpoints'. Beginners will then more quickly learn how to use breakpoints, and one gets rid of the problems of overlooking have set it and as a result
1. making changes at points where one doesn't intend to or
2. not making changes at points where one does intend to.

Using 'Preview' seems to give the same view as 'Disable All Breakpoints' but without the potential problems. In 'Preview' one can still use the slider to see how things look at different breakpoints.

Thanks Frank. I have used both ways and for me at least, it just seems to work better with disabling the breakpoints. There are some instances where it is necessary to use the default setting, and for those instances I do indeed use it. But in general, disabling the breakpoints seems better for me.

Hi Phil
Which Version of Site Designer Are You Using? Or are the versions different for some of your websites? (Is it the same version that you are using for the websites that don't seem to work with 'Disabling" "Default" modes

When you open Toggle Breakpoints do you get the List of breakpoints that you can choose to make the changes?

The only way I can seem to replicate your slightly irritating (:D:D) issue is to have one (or more) of the list of breakpoints selected.

Have any of you had issues with the breakpoints not showing up well on mobile? I've been using the mega menu but it does not show well on mobile- two categories do not show up at all. Is that something I need to hide or maybe readjust?

Are you using foundation? Or one of the others.

The breakpoints are not supposed to show up, only the effect of your settings. Which mega menu are you using?

Did you add additional breakpoints ? Or just using the pre-built in ones, and once again finding ourselves having to peer into the foggy mist of our Chrystal balls to even start to guess what's going on let alone know which components are not appearing

Did you by any chance set a width wider than the viewport? Or some text longer than it's container, there could be any number of reasons until we get more specifics it's just a guessing game again.
