Hi Adrian,
If your setting the link at the smaller screen size you may need to uncheck the Hide items in this break point, on the inspector tab, to get access to the link.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

I've tried it in the Tera theme, and it seemed to work OK. Please forgive and ignore the elaboration below if it's what is already being done. I have found that using the drop-down list prevents the spelling or punctuation errors I might otherwise introduce (or failing to add the '.html' at the end of the name).

In the Href box I followed my usual practice of using the drop-down list it provides for the pages in the project, i.e.
1. I deleted any hash sign that appeared in the Href box;
2. I typed in part of of the new page's html file name, which produced a drop down list of all the file names containing that sequence of characters;
3. I selected the one I wanted, and used 'Preview on ...' to check that the link worked.

Hi Frank and Eric
Thank you for your input you gave me great advise and looked into how to do this however i have now found another way and it is simple for me to do , step one duplicate page and rename it in the page manager,
step two duplicate same nav button and then edit text on the button link then apply and there you have it .new page with new link
