Taskbar notification annoyances -...

Hi,
it seems to me that RSD doesn't like when I minimize it. At least that is how I interpret it's continuous taskbar notification annoyances. If I maximize it after taskbar pops-up with RSD icon changed, there is no message on the screen saying what it wants to tell / yell. I can only guess it is because of some cyclic background work, maybe auto-save? If it is auto-save why would I need to be informed of that? And if there is nothing to save since I saved everything before minimizing it why wasting my time and shortening disk lifetime in vain? Do I have to mention that I like to keep taskbar hidden so this RSD behaviour takes (my precious :D) space.
What can I do about this ?

Yes I do have the latest version.
New info : I have found out that at the same moment that I press hotkey to open Windows explorer RSD icon starts blinking.

Try uninstall and reinstall. If that doesn't work open a support topic.

It may be a Windows issue as discussed here.

Frank, I have many applications installed and active in memory and RSD is the only one with this problem so it is hard for me to consider it a Windows issue. Furthermore, I don't want to completely disable flashing icons on taskbar which is done by editing registry in solution you mentioned (if I didn't understand it wrong).
I don't know the process of activating flashing icon but I guess that application needs to call some windows function. I see no reason for RSD to do that every time I press Win-E to open Windows Explorer. It happens even if RSD is just open with blank page.
I will try to open support topic as Eric suggested.

Frank, I wanted to check something before opening support topic and I had no time to spare until now.
I tried reinstalling older versions one by one and found out that this does not happen with 2.1.2140
So it seems that the problem is introduced with 2.2 version.
Hope that this info will help tech support in dealing with it.

Hi Ivo.

That does indeed support your belief that it is not a Windows issue.

The changes on introducing RSD2.2 were reported here as being significant. The introduction of some glitches is therefore perhaps not too surprising.

Frank
