Suggestions for Responsive Site...

I would like to be able to change the CHARSET and LANG settings, since many countries (like in Europe) have extra characters that are not found in the english character set.

Will this be implemented in RSD?

Some more suggestions after a couple of hours with the new update and actually makeing a site in RSD. This may be a really nice software :-)

- Resource windows - when inserting images from resource window, it would be great to have RSD go back to last opened folder instead of to the root.

- Folder management - would like to be able to choose the path to different folders (like in HTML Editor) for import/export project, images, back-up a s o.

- HEAD-element - I would prefer another order within (that is moving up <title>) to make it easier to read/handle if using an editor. No big thing but makes it look nicer.

<title>XXXXX</title>

<meta charset="XXXX"> (utf-8 or iso-8859-1 or ???)
<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0">
<meta name="description" content="XXXXX">
<meta name="keywords"XXXX">

<link rel="stylesheet" href="css/coffeegrinder.min.css">
<link rel="stylesheet" href="css/wireframe-theme.min.css">
<link rel="stylesheet" href="css/main.css">

<script type="text/javascript">XXXXXX</script>

and so on

- Navigation - would prefer to have the arrows (or similair) in the horisontal meny for navigation between pages or (as few actions/clicks as possible to move around!)

- Design panel - the sections that I choose to close should stay closed.

- Design panel - the panel should not go back/start from the top everytime a change to another element

- Semantic data - a possibility to choose semantic data and insert it in the code

Have a nice evening / Nils

This is in the works and you should see it coming in one of the next updates :cool:

We have been discussing this but have not been able to define a workflow we're really happy with. It's on the list though.

Will look into this one.

I assume you prefer the arrows that are in Responsive Layout Maker. We've heard this one before... ;)

For me this is exactly the way it works right now. When do they reopen for you?

I can see where you are coming from, will need to think/research this one though.

All container elements (rows, columns, containers) have the tag switcher. A container that holds navigation menu links can be changed to <nav> for <div>. Anything else you are looking for here?

Great work on this project, keep up the good work.

One of my biggest irritations is having to navigate to my folders every time I EXPORT. Instead of defaulting to the same folder every time, we need a setting to select an export folder. I think Nils N also alluded to this one.

Makes sense, noted :)

hoi
there is a recreational are as menu builder read word in RSD that it can be seen here and for further editing with any breakpoints (possibly break points different color so that it is clear that these are for the menu).

The advantages are that can be used typefaces from RSD and more like transparent backgrounds etc.

Incidentally, as I coplimenten about RSD if the release is already very extensive, but very nice that we can think along.

I am now a site to see with RSD
http://www.amalia-apartments.com/test/index.html
here I have a different way font adjusted so the background transparent color, it would be nice if that could in RSD.

Hi Bob,

Thank you for the response, much appreciated.

I could not close the "Image Setting/Focal Point" and have it closed. After installing the second update (680) yesterday, it now works fine. First time on each page it is open and if I choose to close it, it stays closed. Nice!

My thought was on the "Semantic Data" panel in HTML Editor that is more extensive.but as I said, it is a wish :-).

Just a quick bug I've found, not sure if it has been mentioned before. When you import an RLMP, some of the image paths change to "online image" as opposed to "local image".

Would it be possible to add the function that allows you to add things that go into the <head> section to all pages at once like in RLMP?

Yes, that's on the roadmap :cool:
