subpages - how to use flat or modular
I have a project in which I now need a large number of subpages. Picture links start the same page as a ubpage with a new Video link. For the sake of clarity in the page display, I would like to use subfolders in the page manager. Is this possible in SD – and if so, how? In Settings, there is the option Flat or Modular. Is that what I mean ? But how do I do this in practice in the Inspector? Is there a user manual somewhere?

First of all don't mess with the "flat or modular settings you mention, leave them as default.

I have 20 Videos. Now I have a page with 20 pictures = picture links for each video. Each picture link opens a page with a video platform linking to the Video that is represented in the picture link.
So these 20 pages with the different video links in the player platform I would like to put into a "subfolder"

Maybe Inger could describe it better - she had the idea !!

The short answer is "No". Discussion about whatever Inger suggested is therefore not relevant.
The flat and modular choices regarding exports from Site Designer are explained at https://www.coffeecup.com/help/articles … r-project/ . They are not options regarding files and folders that you create.

Just to make it clear: I made a demo for Michael where I suggested to put each video chapter on its own webpage. I haven't suggested any 'subpages' and I have definitely not made any suggestions about moving from 'flat' to 'modular' folder structure. I never mess with that!
Earlier, I think it must have been some 2-3 years ago, some other 'coffeecuppers' and I helped Michael to build the site he is now making changes to. At that time, it was understood that the site was to appear in two languages, and he asked me how to do that. I suggested two approaches:
1. Add a prefix (or suffix) to the file names, like 'en' for English and 'de' for Deutsch (German), and then upload everything to the same folder.
2. Make a copy of the project and change the language in the copy, and then upload the first project to the main folder (or domain root), then create a folder on the server for the other language version (this would be similar to what I have done with my Component site, which I have explained at length in other forum threads).
I actually don't know which of those two alternatives he went for.
It is possible that the words 'subfolder' or 'subpages' were used in connection with that folder in the 2nd alternative, but the folder structure, flat or modular, was never mentioned.

Sorry for the misunderstanding: subfolder is my own invention. I started with Dreamweaver and there one could organize pages like that ...
Maybe sometimes the background is more interesting than the solution...
In the end I always get help here - Thanks to all.
