You need to watch Wayan's video closely. Pause it in between and replay bits that you have missed. The whole explanation for your columns etc are shown in it.
And remember to move the slider to the left of the left-most breakpoint every time you start making a change. I know it is easy to forget, I've made that mistake myself more than once.
