Setting Element Defaults in RSD? -...

The help file suggests that I use the 'Apply to: Type' under styles before I start using classes. I think that's a great idea, but there is nowhere I can find to change the defaults that are programmed into RSD without doing them as I use them.
This is a problem because it is so easy to forget to change the drop down to Type BEFORE changing any styles. I would like all my H1, H2.., paragraphs, etc. to have a particular style as a default for my entire website. It seems that using Type is the most efficient way to do this. Unfortunately, because I can't change the defaults except as I add an element for the first time, I find it very difficult to remember to do - it keeps adding them as classes by default.

So, I finally had an idea and tried it. This is what I will do:
    Add a Blank page
Add every element that I want to style with defaults to that page
Select Type from the Apply To list (before making any changes)
Style it according to my website requirements (for defaults)
I name the page Default-Styles and make sure nothing links to it
When I export and upload my site, I don't upload this page

This seems to work and now when I add any element that I've put on the default styles page, it shows my default style and then I can use a class to change it as necessary for a particular page.

There should be a built-in way to do this, but I haven't found how to do it without this work-around.
Does anybody know a better way to do this?

Thanks,
Ron

That's exactly what I do. The best part about it is it gives me a master sheet to work from. My suggestion is to create your master sheet and save the file. That becomes your default. Anytime you are creating a new project, start from that master sheet project file. Your defaults are then preset for every project you start.

Did you know that Web Form Builder can be used for both simple and complicated forms and that it's not limited to the default fonts and buttons? Take a look at a form we developed for WindowTinting.com.

You can also save your master project as a theme and it will appear in the theme chooser.

Thanks for your help.
It works well and I like doing it as a theme. This makes my development go so much smoother.
