One problem I have found so far is that one cannot link to a file that has been put into resources

I have a folder "Custom CSS that contains some stuff (from previous version os Site Designer) when I come to add another file into that folder it goes in OK but then one cannot do the link (well you can by entering the path manually )

I will report this to CC Gurus anybody else found this small issue?

I had to search for this post of yours as I think I have found something similar: On my sharing index page I have this sunrise pic at the top, and then all those programme logos to show which version I have made something for. So, wanted to do an update on that page, and in SD3.5 none of the images showed up, and when I checked the resources, I only saw greyed out files. Is this similar to what you are talking about?

No not really the problem I found is to do with linking to a folder in the header or footer using the button thingy. The button 'select' remains greed out. Have informed cc gurus and still awaiting reply

OK, I have reported my bug, so they will have to do something about it, rather sooner than later. I guess I may have been able to fix my problem by importing those images again and link to then. but it is one hell of a job.

The folder https://www.eikweb.com/sharing/img/ seems to have its images moved into a table, and I'm wondering whether that might be the cause.

Not sure what you mean by that. But what I did just now, was exporting the project file to a different location on my system, and the image folder (and the soc.icons one) did not get exported. So the images you saw were just there from before.

I attach a screen-shot of what I saw when I viewed the source of the folder I mentioned. It may prove unrelated to the problem, but images that I've put in a Resources sub-folder haven't gone into a table.

?????
That is the weirdest thing I've seen! But when checking the source code in Ffx and navigating to the img folder of any of the building blocks I have, they all show the same kind of table on an imaginary html page, so I don't think it has anything to do with this problem.
But if you go to the sharing folder and type index.rsd after sharing/, then download and open it in SD3.5 and export it, you will see that there is no img folder in the exported folder.

I've now done that, and whole situation is indeed odd.

It would be interesting to learn here in due course what the CoffeeCup team make of it.

I'm assuming that version 3.5 is not recognising folders from earlier versions, that you have created yourself. But again, that does not explain why the social thingie is missing too. Maybe because I haven't used anything out of it for that page?

I have now opened that index file again, deleted the img folder with the greyed-out images, and then created a new img folder in SD3.5 and added the images. That lead to a lot of placeholder images on the page (see attached), and I needed to re-add every single image on the page manually. After export I had all the images back, but still no trace of the soc.icon folder. I have not uploaded this yet, though, as I will leave it in its faulty stage online as long as Bob & Co are working on it.

I'll let you know the outcome of this... ;)

I'm sure the CC lot will fix this as soon as possible. But anyway, If you need someone's help in the meantime, don't let anyone who has upgraded, near your file! ;) Or if you have 2 machines, you could upgrade one of them and keep the 3.0 version running on the other until the bugs have been ruled out.
