Unless you have a faulty program, it does what you tell it to do, so the problem seems to be that you are not really knowing what to do & how to do it.

The example was done just to show that starting from scratch isn't that difficult, especially when you have all the ingredients to hand

I know that it would take you longer than the hour or so it took me, but it is possible with some help & guidance.

I hope that someone somewhere can come to your assistance, shortly, but if not then shout up & I can help take you through the process of restarting, the project

The other thing to say is that I can't grow any plants at all perennials or otherwise which is a disappointment especially here in Java where the soil is so fertile you can put what looks like a dead stick in the ground & within days it's sprouting.
but then I have never been shown how to do that growing plants stuff properly.

I was playing around a little bit. Started a new SD file, how do I get the buttons on top of my picture easily?

Make the picture a background image.

So I am trying to start from scratch. I figure all I really need is the basic page format and then it is just added each pages data to it. I have the index page almost done, but need a little help. How do I get the copyright to stay below my links and centered as I move through breakpoints? And how do I center the "We invite you to take a look at our catalog and its diverse listing of perennials" paragraph. Then I just need to remember how I did the flexslider and that page is done. The rest should be quite simple.

I hope this is ok. I created a new container for the copyright, and placed it outside the footer menu. Gave it the same background colour as the rest of the footer. Had to remove the bottom margin.

Edit: I just fixed the footer, forgot the other things you asked. To center the paragraph, select it and set the right and left margin to auto. You may want to remove the 'dot' at the start of it?.

Have to leave the house, so no time for the slider right now.
