I'm having trouble putting the my slideshow from the Content Designer. I copied the information into the header and the main part into the HTML element. However when I preview the webpage it doesn't look exactly right. Is it just cause I'm previewing it?

Also I don't fully understand where I'm supposed to upload the things for the website. I made a folder for the slideshow and uploaded everything in there but I don't have a folder for the page it's supposed to go on like the instructions said. Thank you.

Hello From Sunny Bali

I am not exactly sure what you are struggling with,, but first make sure that the folder created with RCS is in the root of the "Project-folder in your recourses
http://balismartproperty.coffeecup.com/storage/recorses.jpg

In the screenshot, the folder created is called slide1 (yours will be called something else, but see how the Project-folder is highlighted to show what that folder contains)

If that's not there then that maybe why it's not showing correctly

Try That for a first off

Thank you for the advice but it has not worked.

Just to make sure I understand, you're telling me to export the slideshow folder to the RSD exported folder correct? Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I'll include a link to the page below maybe that can help communicate my problem. Thank you.

There are two ways to do it

1/ you export the RCS project for stand alone,,,, if you do that you have to mess about in your HTML editor.

2/ Export the project as EMEDDED,,,, that way you place the link to the RCS silde show in the header of the page (within RSD) then the content into an html element that you have place in the page wehrever you require it (within RSD)

then you import the RCS slider files that it created (with whatever ID name it has) into your RECOURSES project-folder within RSD,,, then you export the whole thing from RSD into whatever HTML editor you are using,,, to upload to the web

here is an example of the folders in my html for a page that has a RCS slideshow (the folder with all the slideshow css,js, images is called slide 1)

You will need place the folder that RCS created into your web-site (HTML) I suspect at the moment it isn't there

If you are really stuck I can make you a short video on how to do it (or there maybe one already around, that someone else has already made.

But if you want I can do it, just send me your e-mail address (mine is on the bottom of my profile (click on my name under the butterfly image). I will then send you something
