Hi
Is there a way to access the resources of a website without opening RSD? I have created files within a project. For example, one is called 'images'. Can I access that outside of RSD?

Thanks! :

Those are all inside of the RSD project file itself. You wouldn't have access to that outside of RSD.

Take your project save it as " some new name" to a new temporary location if you then export the project file, to the new location (say desktop for instance), you can then access the images file from the exported folder.

Hi,

I am trying to go through and optimize the images in an online image compressor thingy and thought the easiest way would be to access all the images at once and then just run them through it. I could pull them from the host, but then any changes I make to the site, down the road will wipe out all the compressed images. Thought maybe there was a faster way to do it, but I guess I just need to manually do it.

So export the project

open the images folder and compress the images using the online service

once compressed put the images folder back into your original resources (overwriting the one already there),, so there in your project are new the compressed images in the folder ready for when you do the real export once your project is finished. I do this all the time easy peasy (I use the Coffee Cup App "Website Insight" which is a doddle,, I assume other on-line compression thingies will work just as well also.

Just read about Coffee Cup App "Website Insight" but don't see any mention of image compression in the app. Did I mis-read your response Wayan?
