Removing unwanted breakpoint - behind...

Hello,

I have a breakpoint goofing up my layout (margin/size numbers not transferring larger) but it is located behind the Content/Style/Element pane on the right of the screen. When I zoom out I can see it. But interacting with it is not happening (with the obvious notice from SD). How do I get a list of all breakpoints elsewhere so that I can delete this offensive item?

While I'm at it - I was watching a tutorial video from Wayan (thank you, good sir, the video was fantastic!) and he had a screen that allowed the changing of selected items color (he was using a red color instead of the default blue) - Where is this screen in SD? I can not find it.

I am sure both of these fixes are duh/no-brainers, but I am so close to being done with a site that I am kind of project "blind" at the moment.

If you zoom out as much as possible, you will see any breakpoints hiding behind the tool panel.

The changing of colours around selected elements must have been the Actions - Preferences dialog. I seem to remember that Wayan had such a video, where he changed something there.
Ha en riktig god dag!

You can use the zoom feature, upper left corner, and zoom out to make them visible.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

The breakpoint problem can seem tricky. I found that the most reliable way for me was to use the 'Toggle Breakpoints' button twice as follows -
1. I use it first to select the relevant breakpoint number in the list that appears.
2. I then click the 'Toggle Breakpoints' button again so as to click on 'Default Mode', which had been unset by action 1 above.
3. I find that I can then successfully use the breakpoint removal button.

Frank,

It took me a couple of minutes to get what you were saying. I think it would help if you had said in your #3 step
? to check that the breakpoint to be deleted is displayed below the zoom tool area
? then click the minus above that area to delete it.

If you don't agree then maybe another phrasing?

I have assumed the situation in the original post: "When I zoom out I can see it. But interacting with it is not happening (with the obvious notice from SD). How do I get a list of all breakpoints elsewhere so that I can delete this offensive item?".

There is no need for zooming out using my method. Perhaps something like the following would have been better for those unaware of the breakpoint removal button:

"3. I then click on the breakpoint removal button (the 'minus' button next to the two magnifying glass buttons)."

I would lay odds on that the offending breakpoint is BLUE which means that no matter what you try to do be it to delete or move it, nothing will happen as it is set in stone so to speak; unless your name is ARTHUR and everybody calls you KING.

So the only thing you can do is styling, using either method as described by Mr Frank or as you already have done before mentioned to get to that breakpoint, then doing the appropriate restyling

Could it be time for you Mr K to treat yourself to an early Christmas present & purchase a larger monitor (one that displays all default points as a minimum size) :D:D

... or for CoffeeCup to give us all a Christmas present of a detachable right-hand panel?
